Meet the Founder!

Hi, I’m Autumn!

Welcome to Autumn Phillips Interiors. This space is part design studio, part curated shop, and a place I hope you keep coming back to. Whether you're ready to transform your home, looking for something special for your space, or simply enjoy following along with beautiful interiors, I’m happy you’re here!

I’m an interior designer based in Tampa, but my career in this industry actually started in Southern California. I joined a high-end interior design firm on their e-commerce team, which gave me a front-row seat to how a design firm really operates behind the scenes. I worked on product launches, website updates, and closely with trade vendors. It was fast paced, detail heavy, and gave me a strong understanding of how the industry works from the inside.

When the firm’s project manager moved on, I stepped into that role and got a much deeper look at what full-service interior design actually involves. From the outside, people often think the job is simply choosing furniture and finishes. While that’s certainly part of it, a lot of the work happens behind the scenes.

Every project involves hundreds of decisions and a lot of coordination. What I learned is that even the most carefully planned projects involve a lot of moving parts. Part of my job is anticipating those moments before they happen and handling them smoothly when they do. That experience taught me how important preparation, communication, and organization are to actually bringing a creative vision to life. The beautiful finished home people see is the result of a lot of quiet coordination happening behind the scenes.

Over time I realized I didn’t just want to manage projects but wanted be more involved in shaping the design itself!

After working in several roles and firms, my husband and I eventually made the move to Tampa. That transition felt like the right moment to build something of my own.

Autumn Phillips Interiors is built on everything I learned along the way. The creative side of design, but also the structure and organization that allow projects to actually come together. Beautiful homes don’t happen by accident. They come from thoughtful planning, strong coordination, and attention to hundreds of small details along the way.

My goal with this studio is to help clients create homes that feel personal, layered, and comfortable to live in, while making the design process feel organized and approachable along the way.

Whether you’re planning a renovation, building a new home, furnishing a space, or simply browsing the shop, I’d love to be part of the process!
